Malcolm Carter –
Commercial Director
Malcolm Carter founded the company in 1978 after extensive
training at British Gas West Midlands. He utilised these
skills to develop the Shropshire Gas brand into the
region’s market leading gas service provider.
Today Malcolm is responsible for business strategy,
development and marketing, as well as chairing the company’s
charity initiative. He also manages Premier Properties,
a residential and commercial property rental and development
business.

James Walton –
Sales Director
James Walton joined the company in 1993 after many years
working for Nelsons on registered social landlord contracts
(RSL). Following a variety of general management roles,
he was promoted to Partner in 1999, then appointed Sales
Director in 2002. James also serves as a member of our
company charity initiative. His responsibilities today
include sales, logistics and RSL contract management.

Thomas Murray –
Technical Director
Thomas Murray joined the company in 1987. After 12 years
holding various operational positions he was promoted
to Partner in 1999. He was then appointed Technical
Director in 2002. Thomas also serves as a member of
our company charity initiative. His responsibilities
today include retail operations and, contract management,
with a special focus on customer service.
